Methods of Character Creation

There are several methods for creating D&D characters. The method that one chooses can affect their base experience. Remember, check the experience page to calculate levels. The formula is basically this:

[base experience] + [racial modifier] + [# of next level] +/- [wis xp bonus]

I. Method 1 - Regular Characters - AD&D Standard Method:
Roll 4D6 six times dropping the lowest number every time + assign numbers to stats = use 10 as the base experience for the character.

II. Method 2 - Modest Characters - D&D Standard Method:
Roll 3D6 six times + assign the numbers to stats = use 8 as the base experience for the character.

III. Method 3 - Hardcore Characters - Universal Constricted Method:
Note: Hardcore characters can only be created if the entire campaign is hardcore characters. They may not be created alongside other non-hardcore characters. Roll 3D6 + do not assign numbers to stats, numbers register in this order [strength, dexterity, constitution, magic, intelligence, wisdom] = Use 6 as the base experience for the character.
